Weekend Progress + First Public Screenshot of SEI Gameplay

Even though I wasn’t feeling great this weekend, I still managed to make solid progress on Super Earth Invasion. Two stubborn bugs are finally out of the way, and I pushed the AI behavior another step forward — especially in how difficulty scales as the chaos builds on screen.

I also ended up having to overhaul my workspace. What should have taken an hour turned into an odyssey thanks to Windows being… Windows. My assistant pointed me toward Syncthing.net, and within 30 minutes I had my PC and laptop syncing perfectly. Now I can update graphics from the living room instead of being chained to my desk like a gremlin. Absolute game-changer.

What’s Next

Tomorrow is a big one. I’ll be spending the entire day refurbishing the SEI event system and updating all game objects that depend on it. Once that’s done, things are going to move fast — and honestly, we’re not far from locking in a release date.

Thanks for following along.
Signing off, just a dude who wanted to make a game.
